Peyman Hosseinchi

As an undergraduate, Peyman double majored in aerospace and mechanical engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Later in his studies, he developed an interest in biological sciences and decided to do a PhD in molecular engineering, specializing in cancer and immune engineering. His hobbies include running, biking, playing soccer, reading, and watching movies.

Peyman's research involves understanding the immunological role of the lymphatic system in shaping immune responses. More specifically, he tries to understand how the lymphatic endothelial cells interact with lymphocytes and other immune cells on the molecular level through the expression of cytokines and surface molecules. The goal is to elucidate the mechanisms involved in the education and differentiation of T lymphocytes in the context of pathological conditions, including cancer.
