Bioengineering approaches to understanding the role of lymphatic vessels in chronic airway inflammation
Katharina earned her BSE in materials science and engineering from the University of Michigan in 2010. She completed her PhD in biomedical engineering as an NSF graduate research fellow at the Johns Hopkins University in 2014. Her doctoral research focused on the development of nanocarriers and their delivery vehicles for improving drug delivery to the gastrointestinal tract. Katharina has been a postdoctoral fellow in the Swartz Lab since 2015.
