Levi received his BA in chemistry from Wayne State University in Detroit where his research focus was on carbohydrate chemistry and fungal vaccine development. He then received his MS in chemistry from the University of Chicago, and is now pursuing his PhD in molecular engineering here at the University of Chicago.
